So it's a bar~LIFE for me.... while my bf sits in a hospital bed, hoping and waiting for some help or relief from his pain. (Rhmatoid Arthritis X4)
I go out, drink , play here, and pray for sleep to come soon ...
He's miserable in the hospital, but he's "compfortable". I cant, of corse, go see him after "visiting hours". I'll do my best to get up by 10am(ish), shower, grab my stuff, go see him, and open the bar on time ... Night night, or is it now morning morning?!?!?!?

8:42 am - Ceremony ~ Later!

I'm heading out to Ceremony with DJ Glitter (Maria/Pink Jeep) and Big Ray tonight! Not sure what time we'll be there, but I'll prolly prop myself up at the front bar in my usual seat,(at the end of the bar near the toilets) while they venture out back and do what they do! I havent been out in a while, it would be nice to see some old school goths and friends.

... spending 7+ days a week within four walls, no matter how wide or long they may be, makes for ONE crank-a-puss Liz!
I decided to drink a few, play here, update here, and still I'm getting looks and groans of disappointment.
Do I not deserve a day, did I not earn a few hours of .....drink and internet bliss ....
Back to the daily grind I go... it's far too early or late for me to still be up. I guess I cant win for losing!

At Light by the Superior Courthouse (Pentucket Medical Building will be in front of you) Go Forward, through the Light! You'll pass the Police Station (on your left, GAR Park on your right). At the next set of Lights, ( the Boys Club is on your left). Take that left, Onto Emerson St.
The Sportsmens Club is on the Right just passed the laundry mat, before El Dorado Pawn Shop & Now Opened ~ Sparky's Wings and Things!! . Park on the street or the Bank lot across the street after 5pm!
ALTERNATE DIRECTIONS: (from the Salem/Peabody/Middleton/Andover,Ma Area)
114W to 495N to exit 50 rte 97 Haverhill/Salem NH. At the end of the ramp take a right onto rte 97s (downtown Haverhill). Follow rte 97 til you pass Store 24 on the left and Heffners Gas station on the right, you'll see Dunkin' Donuts on the left. At the next LIGHT, take a RIGHT onto Emerson St. (Bradford Seafood should be on the corner). I almost lost a dear friend. I've almost lost my business. I want it all!
How do I find a balance?
7 days a week with the business, 7 days a week with the Handi-capped boyfriend, and 7 days a week trying to keep in touch and help my friends?
Am I a Super Human Being?
I wish I knew the answer. I need my business to thrive so I can pay the bills, keep my house, keep my bar! I need to help my boyfriend so he doesnt wither and die! I need to be there for my friends more than I have ... BUT ... HOW?
How can I balance all of these things at once when All I can hear is "...you're young, you can do it ...he's got 15 yrs on you!... you've got the place up for sale... youre gonna make it a gay bar... youre not doing enough ... I'll never buy those peanuts again... I miss you Liz ... I wish it wasnt so far away, I'd come see you ...When are you going to hang out in Salem again ... You got any of those peanuts? ... Take a weekend off ... I'll never play poker again ... why where you closed? ...How much for a bottle of beer? ..."
I cant win. I know this, but until I can pay the bills again, I need to try and make this work. I will do what I can to be there for my friends in need.
I want all my friends to know, that I usually get a day once a month to check my email and do this right now. So if you really need to reach me, you have my number and please USE it. I will stop everything, I will walk away from the bar, so I can talk with you. I will give you my un-divided attention, because I will need it too!
I miss my friends, I havent felt this lonely in years. I know you are all out there, but I cant touch you, I cant hang out with you, I cant speak to you. I think I needed this post more than those I was trying to reach out to and support.
I'll say this and sign off.
Dont hate me or think I'm not around anymore just because I bought a bar.
I need my friends just as much as you do.

... Tradition! ... I'm goin to break it!
Yes! I'm breaking the Tradition of the Virgo Party!
I started it almost 8 yrs ago, ....
(Let's reflect on how the Virgo Party started)
... There were friends, from Manray, friends from Salem, friends from my past, friends from Ceremony, friends from Baltimore, friends from San Diego....
... So I started the Virgo Party! (Every Sept around the 16th,ish).
Friends from all over the place could meet and celebrate, not only my birthday, but those born under the same sign of Virgo! ...
... Live Journal, Myspace, & goth.net, have all played a part in my having the Virgo Party, in the past ...
... since I bought my bar,
I've realized, many of the people I, thought I knew, I didnt know at all!
So why should I have another Virgo Party?!
There will be NO Virgo Party this year! Liz will not be having the big f'in kega' in her back yard or the crazy karaoke night at her bar!
I, Liz, has opted for a more relaxed weekend in Baltimore & Washington DC with my Boyfriend! I will be leaving Haverhill @ 6am on Thurs Sept 14th, on a bus. Returning on Sat Sept 16th, when that bus gets me home!
Happy 31st to me! I'm going to be in the Baltimore/DC area for my birthday!
If you really knew me you'd know why that means so much to me!
Sorry to all that thought they'd get the usual Virgo Party!

... Good bye! to LiveJournal ... I dont have the time, nor the effort to read, reply, or post here anymore. I'm too involved with making my bar work! I will keep my profile until it runs out (I believe in Sept on my bday), but I will not pay for it any longer. I'm not here enough.

I'm sorry I dont have the time to utilize LJ like I have in the past. I will miss the people I met here, and stayed in touch with because of LJ. I can not let this go, for I have nothing left, (some would say except my friends) but honestly, NON of you here, were ever going to be my friends, the way I needed you to be. The same could be said for me. I could never be the friend you wanted me to be! I have accepted that. I have chosen my path, and it no longer involves LJ. I'm keeping my myspace accts only for the club. I have contacts for bands and Karaoke, and blah, blah, blah....
